Today we as the Made in Stanford team marks a sad moment in the first year of history for the restaurant & shop.

We will cease trading in the next 4 weeks, ending 31 Oct.

Compounding a few factors together & an unsuccessful renegotiated rental lease, the decision was made to close operations.

BUT, until then, we will still serve you the fabulous Mienie, Kelly, Simon, Avril & Steyn magic, we love to give...

We all want to say from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. For all who popped in, grabbed a meal, stopped for a chat, supported the shop, you all contributed to a community project that never thought could work. Yet we showcased it is possible, even in this crazy times we find ourselves.

For now a goodbye but one never knows, we might pop up again in the future. Thank you all for this year.

Time for some “me” time, Mienie & the team will take a well deserved break for a while, the restaurant will be closed from 23 August we will reopen on Friday 3 September...don’t despair! The shop will be open to stock up on your favorite goodies...do pop in & support our team on the shop side...!

One of our local artists, Su Wolf hosted a day full of fun to a few, teaching them to do stemple work on paper & the inner child came out with some...great fun & laughter was the order of the day...thanks Su for this!
