The Swartland has become one of the great homes of South African Chenin Blanc.

An ancient landscape of old soils, dry-farmed vineyards, warm days and cooling influences, it produces Chenin with remarkable texture, concentration and character.

Church Swartland is our expression of this place.

A wine shaped by the vineyard and the vintage — generous yet fresh, layered yet precise. We don’t want to disguise where it comes from. We want to reveal it.

Because great Chenin is more than a variety. It is a record of soil, season and place.

CHURCH — STELLENBOSCH CHENIN

Stellenbosch is perhaps best known for its Cabernet, but Chenin Blanc has a long and important history here.

In the right sites, the region gives Chenin something distinctive — structure, depth and freshness, with ripe fruit balanced by natural tension and minerality.

Church Stellenbosch is our interpretation of that place.

It isn’t simply about making Chenin. It’s about allowing the vineyard, the soils, the season and the vintage to find their way into the glass.

A wine that speaks first of Stellenbosch, and then of us.

Because sometimes the most interesting thing a winemaker can do is simply let a place tell its story.

BORN IN THE MIST. Pinot Noir needs cool conditions. And sometimes, nature provides them in the most beautiful way.

The Egin mist rolls in, wrapping the vineyards in cool air and slowing the ripening of the grapes. This extended growing season allows Pinot Noir to develop flavour gradually while holding onto the freshness, acidity and delicate aromatics that define the variety at its best.

It’s this natural cooling influence that helps shape Myst Pinot Noir — elegant, refined and expressive of where it comes from.
