Marelise van Wyk is an artist and printmaker, currently based in Simon’s Town. Her art practice includes a variety of print techniques, both traditional as well as alternative experimental ways of print to challenge the medium in order to enhance its expressive quality to more than just representation.

Sophie Peters is a local Cape Town artist and printmaker whose work tells stories of everyday life, community, memory and spirituality. Born in Johannesburg, she moved to Cape Town in the 1980s to pursue her art studies.

Working extensively with linocut and other printmaking techniques, Peters creates expressive, narrative-driven images rooted in her personal experiences and the social realities of South African life. Her practice spans several decades and includes painting, illustration and public murals.
