Dirt Road is a family-owned business, operated by the Findlay family backed up by enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. The items displayed on this website are the culmination of the many years of experience in the design, manufacture, and distribution of outdoor and safari clothing that the Findlays bring to the business. Andrew Findlay has been manufacturing clothing for the outdoor retail trade and safari industry for the past 35 years. He knows, from experience, what features are essential for appropriate and comfortable workwear and safari clothing. Marion Findlay began crafting her range of exclusive canvas and leather luggage in 1994, starting with one machinist in a converted garage. Today you'll find a dedicated and skilled staff producing the current canvas and leather range to the same exacting standards, albeit in a larger workshop in the Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal.
