Antique (c.1890) boxwood folding rule No 1167 by John Rabone & Sons, Birmingham, England @ R280🎀
🔖 Rare Find

The Rabone rule number 1167 is a four-fold folding rule made from boxwood with brass fittings.

These rules were made in different sizes, I have so far found two sizes:

- 24 inch
- 36 inch

This is a 24 inch rule and in good vintage condition.

The 1167 is marked out in inches with 1/8" increments on both sides of the rule.

The rule is marked with the wording 'Boxwood, Rabone, Made In England, No 1167'.
