💡 FUN FACT! Did you know Panda Stickum Glue can be used to stiffen fabric?

Turn ordinary fabric into a material that can be shaped into all sorts of creative forms!

Simply submerge your fabric in concentrated Stickum Glue, or use a paintbrush to coat the fabric thoroughly. Mould the fabric into the shape you would like, leave it to dry completely… and voilà! You have a stiffened fabric shape ready for your artwork.

🎨 One glue. So many creative possibilities!

Add dimension, texture and 3D effects to your artwork with Panda Texture Paste.

Use it over stencils, apply it directly to a surface and texturise it with a comb or similar tool to create unique raised effects.

✨ Can be tinted with Sun Dyes
✨ Can be added to paint mediums for 3D artwork
✨ And, like all our products, it’s completely NON-TOXIC!

Experiment with texture and see where your creativity takes you. 🐼

Today is your last chance to see the incredible artwork entered into this year’s Panda Paints Art Competition!

With almost 400 entries, we were blown away by the creativity, imagination and skill shown by the young artists who took part. There is such a wonderful variety of styles, ideas and techniques on display.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to see the exhibition yet, today is the day!

Bring the family, take some time to look through the incredible artwork and celebrate the creativity of our young artists. 🖌️

A huge thank you to every school, teacher, parent and child who took part in making our 2026 competition such a success. 🐼

🎨 Have you ever wondered where colour names come from?

We use colour names every day, but some of them have surprisingly fascinating stories behind them!

From Indigo and Turquoise to Sienna and Vermillion, many of the names we know today have roots in languages, places, plants, minerals and even history.

Take a look at our colour-name journey and see how many you recognise — and perhaps discover a few you didn’t know the story behind! 🌈

Which colour name surprised you the most?

WHAT’S IN YOUR CHILD’S ART BOX? 🎨🐼

Sometimes we forget to ask the most important question: Are the products our children are using at school non-toxic?

At Panda Paints, safety has always been a priority. All our manufactured products are completely non-toxic, and our ethos is to provide environmentally friendly, non-toxic products to our customers.

But safety isn't the only reason to choose Panda.

Our products are made in South Africa with quality, performance and the classroom environment in mind. From paints and glues to our extensive range of art and craft materials, we believe children should be able to explore their creativity with products that teachers and parents can feel confident using.

Parents: ask your child's school what art materials they are using.

And teachers: when you're choosing products for your classroom, look beyond the price and consider safety, quality and what you're putting into little hands.

Choose local. Choose quality. Choose safer.

🎨 Paint a Portrait… on a Board!

Ready for a portrait challenge with a twist? 👀🎨
We tried this fun activity at our Pre-Primary & Junior Primary Workshop, and it was a favourite!

Work in pairs: choose a few Panda Acrylic colours, then one child holds the acrylic board up to their face while their partner paints their portrait directly onto the board. Once you’re finished, swap places and paint each other! 🖌️

It’s a fun way for children to explore facial features, spacing, observation and proportions, while building confidence with portrait painting.

And the best part? The paint washes straight off the acrylic board, so it can be used again and again! ♻️
A fun activity for the classroom or a creative afternoon at home with the kids. 🐼🎨

BROKEN CRAYONS STILL COLOUR.

Sometimes we think something has to be perfect before it can be useful, beautiful or worth creating.

But art has a wonderful way of reminding us that imperfections are part of the process. A broken crayon can still make a mark. A messy page can still become a masterpiece. And a mistake can sometimes lead to an idea you never expected.

So the next time a crayon breaks, don’t throw it away. Keep creating. You never know where that little bit of colour might take you. 🎨
