Looking for a roommate that never complains, rarely gets thirsty and always looks stunning? Vetplante are a pretty good match. ๐
We call them โfat plantsโ for a reason - their plump leaves and stems are built to store water, making them wonderfully well adapted to drier conditions.
They love soaking up the sun, need very little fuss and come in an almost endless variety of shapes, textures and colours.
Take the beautiful stone-rose Echeveria, for example. Its powdery, waxy coating helps protect it from the Free State sunโs intense UV rays. Right alongside, youโll find the much-loved Jade Plant, a sturdy, tree-like succulent traditionally associated with good luck. And then thereโs our indigenous Spekboom, a remarkable little plant known for its incredible ability to absorb and store carbon (it's so healthy to have them around!) ๐ซ
