Our conversation started out quite possibly intense. Her eyes fixed on a myriad of bedroom design options and I glued to her face as she scrolled through what seemed like an endless reel of Pinterest eternity!

"Mama"!, she said , "Sugar, spice and everything nice". Which translates to Pink/Purple and lots of sparkle 🤦🏾♀️.
✨
Kids have an interesting perspective of the world and on my quest to bring the sparkle, the trick is to
DO IT TASTEFULLY without losing sight of what she wants. 😮💨😋
✨TIPS TO DO IT LIKE A PRO:-
1. Firstly start off with measuring out then drawing/sketching out the room in CAD or paper to get a real feel and its exact size.
2. Created a Mood Board (like this reel) highlighting what they fancy and the sparkle (aka elements that will help tie everything together).
3. Sourcing- start with what you already have. Heirlooms, trinkets, old photos and frames, and things of that nature help to add depth and interest which tell a visual story.
4. Diy if you can. Now this isn't for everyone, however some magical happens when you create/build/make something with your hands from scratch.
5. Be Patient. Can't stress this enough. Rushing through this process will likely cause drama and stress. Instead phase the project out, breaking it down into smaller manageable tasks you can tackle daily or on weekends.
✨Ps. Have fun with it! 😉
