Artist Statement
ACRYLIC MAGIC
A Solo Art Exhibition by 2wice (Callen Moses Chisha)

Acrylic Magic is a celebration of life through colour, texture, and imagination. This exhibition brings together three of my signature bodies of work—the Wildlife Series, Women Series, and Children Series—each exploring a different aspect of our shared humanity and the natural world.
The Wildlife Series reflects the beauty, power, and vulnerability of Africa's remarkable creatures. These paintings invite us to reconnect with nature and recognize our responsibility as custodians of the environment.
The Women Series is a tribute to the strength, dignity, resilience, and grace of women. Each portrait honours the countless roles women play in shaping families, communities, and nations, while celebrating their individuality and inner beauty.
The Children Series captures the innocence, curiosity, and boundless hope found in childhood. Through expressive colour and emotion, these works remind us that every child carries the promise of tomorrow and deserves the opportunity to dream and flourish.
Created using acrylic on canvas in my distinctive expressive style, each painting is driven by bold brushwork, vibrant colour harmonies, and a desire to evoke emotion. My aim is not simply to reproduce what we see, but to reveal the spirit and stories that lie beneath the surface.
It is my hope that Acrylic Magic inspires viewers to pause, reflect, and rediscover the wonder that exists in nature, in people, and within themselves.
