The North Westerners, Luvale to be specific celebrate a traditional ceremony called “Kukwachisa Kumajiko “ meaning “holding the brides hand as she cooks”. It is celebrated a day right after the wedding day. The practice is done by family of the bride who cook different traditional foods at the groom’s family residence, and eat together with the groom’s family to symbolize the new oneness of the two families.🤎🍲
