Position: Barman
Location: GB Liquor, M & M Center Chilenje
Deadline: 15/11/2024
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the bar area is organized, clean, and fully stocked
* Engage with customers in a friendly, professional way, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere
* Perform regular stock takes, manage inventory, and fill out stock sheets accurately
* Follow all safety and health regulations
Requirements:
* Education: Grade 12 certificate
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years in bartending, with experience supporting daily operations, inventory management, and staff supervision
* Must reside within Chilenje, Libala or Kabwata area
* Skilled in training and managing staff, ensuring high service standards and team cohesion
* Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service, handling guest issues professionally and efficiently
* Strong commitment to maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards through routine inspections and compliance
* Experience with financial responsibilities, such as cash handling, cost control, and budget monitoring
* Ability to coordinate promotions and events to boost customer engagement and revenue
* Skilled at identifying training needs and organizing sessions to enhance team performance
* Strong sense of honesty and integrity, ensuring all operations are handled responsibly and ethically
