Pen first, then watercolour. 🖊️🎨

I started by drawing the flowers🌼 and then the not so small bee 🐝 with pigment liners, building up the lines and details, and then brought it to life with layers of watercolour.

I love how the strong pen work holds everything together while the watercolour adds softness, movement and colour.

Sometimes it’s nice to go back to the basics — draw, paint, create. ❤️

✨ WHAT A TRANSFORMATION! ✨

End of the week and suddenly... it has all come together! 🙌

After weeks of dust, disruption, decisions and a few frustrating moments, I can finally stand back and say — I am SO happy! ❤️

The fresh paint has completely transformed the space. Our beautiful Light Sage feels calm, welcoming and fresh. 🌿

A huge amount of ground engineering has gone into improving our drainage and preparing us for those heavy Zambian rains. 🌧️🤞

And our new and improved Picture Framing Showroom is taking shape beautifully — more countertops, more shelving, more storage and a much better space to showcase what we do best. 🖼️

It's been a MAJOR renovation... but seeing it all come together makes every bit of chaos worthwhile.

Now I can finally see the beautiful Art Shop I've been imagining. ❤️🎨

When it comes to framing, I take my work very seriously... can you tell by the look on my face? 😄

This artist Mulenga Mubanga is absolutely on fire right now, and we couldn't be prouder to be framing so many of his incredible artworks. Watching an artist's journey and being trusted to present their work at its very best is such a privilege.

Our signature framing style is all about enhancing the artwork—not overpowering it. Timeless, elegant, and designed to do justice to almost every piece that comes through our workshop.

Movement. Grace. Energy.
We recently had the privilege of framing these breathtaking ballet artworks by Mulenga Mubanga. Inspired by the expressive, action-filled style of Jackson Po***ck, each piece captures the dancers in a whirlwind of colour, texture and motion.
Every brushstroke and drip seems to dance across the canvas, creating artworks that are vibrant, emotional and utterly captivating.
It was an honour to custom frame these magnificent pieces and help showcase their beauty for years tocome
