Today’s Portion of Scripture.

Hebrews 4:12 ESV

For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

The Word of God distinguishes itself in us to accomplish purpose. In the absence of the Word, God cannot direct our lives. Creation was through the Word. Purpose to be accomplished, the Word of God need to have life in us for He is living and active. God has exalted His Word above all and if He fails to act on His Word He ceases being God. You will see your children's children.
