Before you mow your newly laid turf, read this 👇
🌱 The most important thing after laying new turf? Stay off it.
🌱 Avoid walking on or mowing your new lawn until the roots have taken firm hold in the soil.
🌱 Once you start seeing some growth, gently check a different corner of the lawn each day. If the turf still lifts, it needs more time.
🌱 When the corners no longer lift, the roots have established and it’s ready for its first light mow.
🌱 This usually takes around 2–4 weeks, depending on the season and growing conditions.
🌱 Keep your mower on a high setting and never remove more than one-third of the grass blade at a time.
🌱 By six weeks, your lawn should be well established and ready to enjoy.
