Rather than asking a single subwoofer to reproduce everything from 100Hz down to single-digit frequencies, ASCENDO takes a different approach. Dedicated infrasonic subwoofers reproduce the lowest octave (below 20Hz), allowing traditional subwoofers to focus on the frequencies where they perform best.
The result is cleaner bass with lower distortion, greater dynamics, improved transient response, and less compression across the entire low-frequency range. By removing the burden of reproducing infrasonic frequencies, conventional subs can deliver tighter, more accurate mid-bass while the infrasonic system pressurizes the room with effortless authority.
That room pressurization is what transforms home cinema from something you hear into something you physically experience. The lowest frequencies create a sense of scale, weight, and realism. Infrasonic bass adds the tactile dimension.
The benefits extend beyond blockbuster movies. Reproducing the lowest frequencies also reveals ambient cues and spatial information that can make recordings sound larger, more natural, and more believable.

Yet we also challenge one of audio's biggest misconceptions: that large drivers are inherently slow. Speed is determined by motor design, moving mass, and system engineering—not cone diameter. Our large-format drivers are some of our fastest and can deliver exceptional transient accuracy while effortlessly reproducing the ultra-low frequencies.
