WHERE ARE PUP AND PIP TODAY? 🐾

Several times a week, we’re asked where the dogs are. We know just how much our customers genuinely love seeing Pup and Pip in store—so we thought we’d properly introduce them!

Pup has been part of the Dillon Rural team since day one, when we first opened in 2017. She’s a Border Collie–Kelpie cross and one crazy dog who simply never stops!

Not long after we opened, Pup decided to pay a little “visit” to our neighbour’s dog, Ed. Around nine weeks later, Pip arrived! She was one of eight puppies in the litter—and the lucky one we kept.

Pup and Pip come to work several days a week. They usually spend their mornings chasing each other up and down the fence out the back before wandering inside around lunchtime to hunt down a few treats behind the counter.

After that, you’ll generally find them sunbaking across the front doorway—while customers carefully step around them like the true Dillon Rural bosses they are. 😂🐶

They’re a little bit crazy, often in the way and very spoilt—but Dillon Rural just wouldn’t be the same without them

🌱 PLOT OF THE WEEK PEOPLE’S CHOICE! 🌱

This is a big one… the people have spoken! 🏆

The summer plots took the crown at our Field Day, with a huge number of votes going their way closely followed by Plot 65, which was the standout individual plot!

Winter pastures are hugely important in our system in our area and get us through some of the toughest months of the year, but there’s no denying the summer plots always grab plenty of attention.

🏆 Plot 65 — RGT Hybra Brassica this week’s Plot of the Week!
