During the cooler winter months I like to cook up a batch of mulled wine. It doesn’t last long it’s so delicious. And after tasting Kesshō Mulled Wine with Cacao Nibs, 74% Semuliki Forest, Uganda cacao chocolate bar, I think I need to make another batch!🍷
My taste journey - the aroma of this chocolate bar was potent; a fragrant melange of damson plums soaked in tawny with woody cinnamon spice. The flavour notes that followed were of a similar vain, but elevated in taste. First, came notes of damson plums and prunes soaked in tawny, all plump and pleasantly sweet. This was followed by notes of rich, dense, moist chocolate cake, the kind with a thick layer of luscious chocolate ganache in the middle. As the chocolate melted, notes of cinnamon hummed gently in the background, while the added cacao nibs provided surprise pockets of nutty crunch when I encountered them. The finish was long, warming, and simply delicious! Now really do need to make more mulled wine🍷
Thank you Liang and Mark ♥️
