Thank you to our Yu-Gi-Oh players and the two pokemon VG players that came in to guf today dispite the terrible weather

We had a total of 7 Yu-Gi-Oh players dueling and getting ready for next Saturday's OTS today with Lochlan Dunne comming out undefeated

We also had 2 players that were here for our pokemon VG locals that had some games between them, and did some theroy crafting for the upcoming regionals in Brisbane.
Anyone that is interested in the world of competitive pokemon battling feel free to come down as the barrier to entry has never been lower all you need is a mobile phone with pokemon champions downloaded.

Thanks everyone for joining us for Monday Night Pokémon last night.

It's September, The first day of Spring and the first day of our new competitive season. Players are now starting to lock in their post worlds decks for the upcoming pointed events.

Competition is fierce both in our Junior/Senior division and in Masters right now. With a wide variety of decks in the meta, It's a great time to be playing Pokémon!

Thanks everyone for joining us for today's Star Wars Unlimited Planetary Qualifier.

It was an absolutely awesome day of games, with 58 players playing their way through 6 rounds of swiss.

Congratulations to our Guf Geelong Planetary Qualifier for this season; Olivier Dupuis.

Oli piloted his Aurra Sing/Data Vault deck through 4 wins and 2 draws through the swiss, setting him up comfortably in the top 8

From there he went undefeated in the elimination rounds, beating his top cut opponents to emerge victorious!

Well done Oli!

Today wouldn't have been such a sucess without today's amazing team. Thanks to our judge team of Fletcher and Byron, TO/staff Paul and Jack and today's Stream team of Aaron and Christian.

We're taking over this post!

Thanks to all the adults for joining us tonight for Monday Night Pokémon.

There was nothing to stop us tonight!

Oli was our big winner going undefeated with Festival Lead!
(with Lyndon playing Mega Sharpedo just missing out by tiebreakers), then Charlotte and Peter in equal 3rd!

It was a great night tonight playing our weekly Star Wars Unlimited tournament - 12 fantastic players duked it out across land and space to establish dominance and win big! A huge thank you to those who came down to play tonight, we are always excited to have new faces playing Star Wars!

Across three rounds we ended up with many winners; this week the winners were:

A huge congratulations to our winner who walked away with an Ashes of the Empire Prerelease Kit as a winner prize this week!

Don't forget Guf Geelong will be hosting the Star Wars Unlimited Ashes of the Empire Planetary Qualifier this Sunday, August 30th! Kick off starts at 10am for round 1 with registration opening at 9am, can't wait to see so many people come in and battle it out for supremacy!
