WattleCraft Bushcraft • Rewilding Skills • Nature Connection Practices • Workshops • Campout Programs • Earthen Adornments

Sally (creator and founder of WattleCraft) is a wilderness guide, earth crafter, rewilding skills and nature connection mentor. Sally has spent a great deal of her life living simply in the element of wild places and ancestral connection. Learning, practicing and sharing the old ways of earthen craft and rewilding skills. Her deepest passion being our innate relationship with nature through craft

as a way of empowerment, resourcefulness, creativity and a deep sense of belonging. Her unique offerings of bushcraft are gathered and woven in reciprocal relation with land and spirit, carrying a story embedded in earth kinship. Our relationship with the natural world is part of who we are – by embracing it, we can cultivate an inner wellspring of personal resilience and resource, that gives a guiding ember into life’s pathway with nature as ally. Wattle Craft gives our profound respect and love for all Indigenous communities around the world. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land, of ancestors and elders – past and present, on which our programs take place. with a deep reverence for indigenous culture, connection and ways, may we continue to give back with reverence and reciprocity. Wattle Craft acknowledges that survival skills are a global knowledge bank held by humans from all races and countries. We acknowledge our Scottish, Irish, European and American ancestral lineages of earth-based living skills. Primitive skills are the original survival skills that all humans once used to live in harmony with the earth. Wattle Craft's practices and programs help to share these skills and keep their power alive in the modern day.

Shelter Building among the stringy bark and tea tree forest. Many hands coming together collecting materials and forming our lean-to shelter. Sharing conversations around elements of wilderness, reading landscape, navigation and gaining sense in the bush.
This is always a lot of fun!

Looking forward to our next one 🌿 Bush Skills Campout is only 4 weeks away with spots filling up quick.

Our Bush Skills Rewilding Weekend last month. Gathered around the fire, learning new skills and shared knowledge, bushcrafts, ecology, connecting, camping and re-attuning among this lush nestled landscape.

Thank you to everyone who came and was part of the synergy! What a happy bunch of humans!
Many embers were stoked inside and out 🔥 as happens when good folks come together and share in a genuine, earth centric way.
Ancestral practices seem to have a way of merging us in a mutual space of remembrance, simplicity and belonging.
It was an honour to have my father present, for his extension of life lived wisdoms and for my brother cooking up locally grown and hunted food over the hearth.

Some words from participants so far -
“Feeling super recharged, and feeling a regenerated sense of self after spending time on the land with our unique lovely group. I was totally in awe of the genuine connections I made from just a 2-night camp out, and the conversations & quality banter ‘round the fire. Other than the social connections, a personal highlight for me was the cordage making.” - Karinda

🌿 Next one will be running in Spring time!
with a few varied offerings in the works

Thank you for having us Wild Ridge Farm in the peaceful bushcamp space and for all that you’re locally doing to regenerate and care for the land there on wurundjeri country.
Thanking the land for holding us, may we continue to give back with presence and by practicing rights ways.
