New releases and reissues today with Roy Ayers Ubiquity joining the Verve Vault series, ‘emotional’ jungle from Nia Archives, Current 93 have also had the reissue treatment…if you’re so inclined as well as Wally Badarou and Cluster. More earworms from Charli XCX and her muses, Gizzard drummer CAVS returns with a second solo album and spiritual jazz from Nat Birchall Quartet. Lots more online and in the shop.

This week we had another work experience student in the shop - Kalan aka Kalan Macdonald. A wealth of knowledge for his age and 10/10 with our customers. When he’s not making beats in FL studio(!), he’s playing drums in his band, a music lifer in the making for sure. Thanks Kalan for all your hard work this week. 3 essential items landed in the shop today. If you are partial to extreme music then look no further then Mellow Harsher, and Insect Warfare. This is top shelf music bound to fly out the door so come instore or hop online a book your ticket to sonic freedom. Unanimous victory.

The new outgrow madness 7” is well a truly sold out across the globe and is even better then their LP which I am staggered they could even achieve, mellow harshers new collection is what can only be described as the most manic piece of 36 songs ever put together and makes so much sense having all their material on one slab and of course Insect Warfare - the kings of modern grindcore (rightfully) according to YouTubers everywhere.
