Hi. I’m Anndee! I figured with a whole bunch of new faces around here lately, it was probably time I properly introduced myself.
I’m the person behind HOMEBODY Market. The emails, the vendor lineup, the floor plans, the social posts, the signs, the tiny details no one will ever notice but I will absolutely lose sleep over… hi 👋
Markets have been part of my life for a long time. Before HOMEBODY, I spent years working in radio and eventually found my way into the market world - and somewhere along the way realized how much I genuinely love creating spaces for small businesses to show up, be discovered and have a really, really good day.
Eventually, I knew I wanted to build something of my own.
HOMEBODY came from everything I love about markets: beautiful things, talented people, good coffee, families wandering around, conversations happening between booths, discovering a business you’ve never seen before, and having somewhere you actually want to stay awhile.
When I’m not working on HOMEBODY, I’m also behind a lot of the marketing, retail and general scheming over at Skin Passions Body Essentials - the skincare + body essentials business my mom and I work on together. So if I’m not answering vendor emails, there’s a pretty good chance I’m packing products, making content, talking wholesale, or convincing my mom that I have one more idea. 😂
And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I’m also a wife, a mom, a chronic idea-haver, and ironically enough.. a genuine homebody.
I love small businesses. I love making things feel special. I love bringing people together. And I really believe there is still something incredibly valuable about shopping from a real person, in a real room, and knowing there’s a whole story behind what you just brought home.
