Propellers are easy to overlook because they’re familiar, but they still deserve a proper check before takeoff.

Look for chips, cracks, warping, or anything that feels off, then make sure each propeller is seated and secured properly before the aircraft goes up.

It only takes a few seconds, and it’s one of the easiest pre-flight checks to build into every flight.

Return-to-Home is useful, but the setting still needs your attention.

Before takeoff, look at the surrounding terrain and obstacles and make sure the planned RTH altitude is appropriate for where you are flying.

It’s one of those settings that’s easy to overlook because everything worked perfectly last time.

DJI recommends observing the height of surrounding obstacles and setting the RTH altitude above them to help avoid collisions during Return-to-Home.
