A huge congratulations to my son Theo’s Fishing Adventures and all the other winners at this morning’s New Brunswick Sport Fishing Association - NBSFA Youth Tournament in Woodstock! 🎣🏆

Events like this don’t happen on their own. It takes a tremendous amount of time, planning, effort, and teamwork to organize and run a tournament.

Hats off to all the organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who helped bring everything together.

Thank you to the parents for getting the kids out and to everyone who gave these young anglers such a fun and memorable morning on the water!

Looking forward to seeing who won the trip with us!!

🎣 Friendly reminder for all young anglers and their families!

The New Brunswick Sport Fishing Association - NBSFA is hosting its FREE Youth Fishing Tournament in Woodstock tomorrow, Sunday, September 6!

📍 NBCC Boat Launch, Woodstock
📝 Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
🎣 Fishing runs from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
🏆 Awards and prizes at 1:00 p.m.
🌭 Free BBQ included!

There will be three age groups:

• Ages 1–8
• Ages 9–12
• Ages 13–16

Young anglers will be competing for the longest bass and longest perch in their age group.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get the kids outdoors, introduce them to tournament fishing and spend a fun morning together. A huge thank-you to the NBSFA and all the volunteers who make events like this possible!

We successfully landed a few sturgeon before trying our luck for a musky. They definitely aren’t lying when they call it the fish of 10,000 casts! No musky today, but that’s fishing—and we still had an awesome morning making memories on the river.

These boys started the day as strangers and became best fishing buds almost immediately!

The fishing was a little slow on our boat, but we still got on em!

We did some “video game fishing” with the Garmin Marine LiveScope, watching the fish swim around underneath the boat.

A lot of laughs, new friendships and a pretty cool morning on the water! 🎣

I had the pleasure of sharing the boat with a good friend and his son today!

It was their first time sturgeon fishing, and they had a great day on the water. We even threw a couple of smallmouth bass into the mix for a nice bonus!

Good fish, great company and memories made—that’s what it’s all about! 🎣
