With spring in full swing, and everything turning green, we will be returning to the Halifax Public Gardens for our weekly Storytime! Join us this coming Tuesday, May 19th at 10:30am at the big tree near the cafe with your little ones and a picnic blanket, and enjoy some fun books and beautiful flowers. 💐

This event is weather dependant and will be cancelled if it is raining. We will confirm any cancellations on our social media accounts by 8 a.m.

A very heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you who came out to celebrate indie bookstore with us. Thanks to you, it was our best one yet! 🎉

We would also like to express our gratitude to the amazing construction crew who not only helped our customers find us among the machinery, but also allowed us to have a ‘viewing space’ of the impressive crane! 🏗️

Another thanks goes to the local authors who joined us in celebration: Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail and Rebecca Thomas.

Congrats to Stephane, who won a box full of Woozles Favourites, and thanks to everyone who entered…all 170 of you!! We are so excited to celebrate with you all again next year. 📚

Clifford is ready to celebrate indie bookstore with us on Saturday…we hope to see you there!

We will be joined by Curious George from 10am-12pm, and authors and from 1-3pm! There will be fun giveaways while quantities last, and you’ll have a chance to enter several contests for cool prizes.

There is also an *updated* construction notice for the day of…the sidewalk access to our store from Robie St. will be open! 🥳
