There’s a hidden Hidden Mickey in this video.

Maybe you can’t find it. Maybe you know exactly where it is because you found it yourself. Or maybe you know because your favorite creator told you what to look for.

Easter eggs were never about the information. They were about the moment you spotted something nobody told you to look for.

Then we monetized attention, and every new land, refurb and queue gets strip-mined within 48 hours of opening for every little detail a team spent months, sometimes years, creating.

So Imagineers work twice as hard to bury things, because buried things make good content and that same content makes the burying redundant.

I already knew everything to ‘keep an eye out for’ on the new Muppets Rock ‘n Roller Coaster before it even opened!

Honestly, I don’t even think it’s bad. I think it’s strange. We built a machine that celebrates hidden details by making sure none of them stay hidden.

Anyway. Watch the videos and get excited to spot them yourself.

Or avoid every one so you actually get to observe.

You do you!

Ok, how are you feeling about this major change?

Carousel of Progress is closing July 2026 for a major update with new decades, new scenes, and a Walt Disney animatronic. Right now it’s set to be closed until 2027.

This attraction has been updated before and that’s actually the point of it. Walt designed it to keep moving.

If you’re planning a trip before July, add it to your list. It’s worth seeing before it changes and it will be worth seeing after too.

The last time Disney built something totally original at a US park was Expedition Everest in 2006.

That’s not an accident but rather a business decision and honestly, it’s a smart one.

People love a movie, Disney turns it into a ride, people go to the park to experience the property they love and we all know Disney is making a LOT of money doing this.

Disney has always used IP to get people to the park. Peter Pan, Snow White, Dumbo, Mr. Toad have all been part of Disneyland forever but it was contained to Fantasyland.

Adventureland, Frontierland and Tomorrowland were all original.

The Imagineering focus has shifted from original creative ideas to extraordinary engineering and they have become very good at it. Rise of the Resistance is one of the most impressive things ever built in a theme park.

But there’s a difference between a ride that delivers a story you already know and a ride that is the story.

Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain, most people’s favorite rides were created in the parks first and turned into IP second.

Internationally, there have been a few original attractions since 2006 but it’s been about a decade since the last one. The trend is the same everywhere, IP based rides are the future.

I love the IP based rides and it makes me a little sad we probably won’t see any original IP created by Imagineers again.

I mean, I would consider it one BUT it has two sticks and could be broken into two so is it actually two servings?

Splash Works opens this weekend at Canada’s Wonderland and I can not wait!

The weather is finally warming up and the thoughts of this massive water park opening makes my heart very happy!

I still don’t have full confidence in my ability to properly get into an inner tube but practice makes perfect!

Send this to someone who will be excited for water slides and the lazy river!

Apparently Express pass is being removed from Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure as of July 1st. If you booked a Deluxe resort for the summer with the idea of using your Express Pass for Hagrid’s plan accordingly!

Do you think this is a permanent change or just for the busy summer months?

It doesn’t matter the species, all kids think they know better than the adults.

Send this to someone who could use a smile.

Universal has made a choice, and it’s a deliberate one.

There are many arguments for and against having no lap sitting/no height requirement but Universal definitely isn’t trying to grow in the ‘all ages’ category.

If you have a baby who can’t sit independently there is nothing you can take them on at any Universal Orlando park other than the Hogwarts Express.

We didn’t start visiting Universal Studios as a family until my son was about 5 because there was really not much to do with him when he was younger.

Lap sitting is not allowed on any Universal Studios ride and if your child is under 36” there is very little for them to do at any of the parks other than a couple of rides and play areas.

So what do you think? Should Universal consider making a few rides that allow lap sitting and are truly built for everyone or should they stay the course as a no babies park?

Getting cut off? Not surprising. Getting cut off by someone with this bumper sticker, not gonna lie, it made me laugh.

There is one place in Disney you will find an open top trash can.

I’ll let you guess where…and why they chose to use a different trash can style but trust me when I say it was a good move.

It’s true. Parents hide the good snacks for when they think their kids aren’t looking.
