Vintage Eddie Bauer trousers, reworked into a handmade everyday tote with 5 functional pockets.

There’s something grounding about taking a well-loved piece and giving it a completely new purpose. Between memory items, creating for Reclaimed Vintage by Maudlin has become a bit of a mental reset for me. Slower. Creative. Intentional.

Each piece is one of one. Classic, practical, and made from materials that already have a story behind them.

WEEEEE! It’s the start of the long weekend and we have warm weather! 🤩
I’m taking a little breakaway from the machines and heading out for a well earned weekend trip. You can still send messages, emails and the phones are forwarded to my cell. I will get back to you as soon as I can.

In the mean time, May and June are fully booked for all classes but July there are still some spots available for private or groups. You can register right on our website www.shopmaudlin.ca

If your child loves creativity, hands-on projects, art, fashion, or simply trying something new, this is such a fun way to spend part of their summer while learning a practical skill they can carry forward for years.

Our Tween/Teen Sew Program at MAUDLIN is designed specifically for ages 9–17 and gives kids the chance to learn real sewing skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Students will make their own pillow + eye mask set while also learning how to properly use a sewing machine so they can continue building this skill long after the class ends. No experience is needed and all machines, notions, and materials are included in the price.

This is a 2-class program:
🪡 July 8 + July 15
🪡 11AM–1:30PM
🪡 $130 total for both classes
🪡 Only 6 spots available

This is more than just a craft class. It’s a confidence-building, creative learning experience where students leave with both a finished project and real sewing knowledge they can continue using at home.
