🌙 Good night, everyone. ❤️

It's been one of those busy, productive days.

I spent the day getting the house de-summerized. The summer clothes are packed away, the yard is getting cleaned up, things are being put back in their places, and I gave my son's room a good refresh—rearranged everything, washed the walls, swept, and mopped. It feels so nice to head into the next season with a clean, organized home.

I only managed to get half of a poppy finished today, but that's okay. Progress is progress, and I'll pick it up again tomorrow.

Now it's finally time to relax and call it a night.

☀️ mid morning check-in! ❤️

Today has been a really good day!

All of my lanyards have sold, along with a few other pieces, and I'm feeling incredibly grateful. ❤️

The best part? My beadwork is heading all the way to Mexico! 🌎🪶 It means so much to know that my creations are finding homes beyond Canada. Every piece I make carries a little piece of my heart with it.

I always include one of my business cards and a short biography with my artwork because I want people to know who made it and the story behind my work.

Now I'm off to the bank to deposit today's sales, and then it's back home to keep creating.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support my Indigenous artwork. Every share, comment, purchase, and word of encouragement helps me keep doing what I love.

☀️ Good morning and Happy Saturday! ❤️

I'm just waiting for someone to stop by this morning. They're coming to look at my beadwork, and it sounds like they're buying all four of my lanyards! I'm so grateful for the support.

They also want to see what other stock I have... which made me laugh a little because I don't usually have much stock! Most of my work is made on commission, or it sells shortly after I finish it. That's a blessing I'm incredibly thankful for.

Today's plan is to finish up my poppies and then switch gears into Halloween creations. I'm thinking medallions, necklaces, keychains, and all things spooky. 🎃👻

Before we know it, it'll be the middle of October, and I'll be moving on to Christmas ornaments! Time sure flies.

I'm just about to start the edging on this poppy, and once that's done, it'll be one step closer to being finished.

It's always amazing to watch a piece come together. Sometimes it's those last little details that make all the difference.

🍂 Good morning and Happy Friday! ❤️

As we slowly move into the season of fall, I've been thinking about one of the teachings I carry with me.

Autumn reminds us that there is beauty in letting go.

The trees don't fight to keep their leaves. They trust that what falls today will make room for new growth tomorrow. They teach us that every season has a purpose.

Sometimes we hold on to things that no longer serve us—old hurts, fear, anger, or even self-doubt. Fall reminds us that it's okay to release those things. Let them fall like the leaves. They have already taught us what we needed to learn.

As the air gets cooler and the days grow shorter, may we slow down, spend more time with the people we love, give thanks for what we have, and prepare our hearts for the season ahead.

I hope today brings you peace, good health, and many blessings.

🌙 Good night, everyone. ❤️

Well... my goal today was to finish two poppies.

Reality had other plans. 😂

I got one finished—well, almost! I just have to do the edging, and then it's complete. I've already started number two, so I'll be back at it tomorrow.

It was a busy day with a full house, so there were lots of interruptions, but that's okay. Some days don't go exactly as planned, and that's just part of life.

I'm happy with the progress I made, and tomorrow is another day.

☀️ Afternoon check-in! ❤️

Guess what I'm making for lunch...

If you guessed eggs, you know me well. 😂🥚

Right now, though, my little guy is working on his math, and I have to say... I'm so proud of him.

He's only six years old, and he's already counting by 2s, 3s, and 5s. Watching him learn has been such an incredible experience.

Homeschooling has honestly been a wonderful adventure for us. One of the things I love most is that he has the time and space to ask questions, explore ideas, and really understand why something works instead of just memorizing it.

I want him to grow up knowing it's okay to think critically, to be curious, to do his own research, and to trust his ability to work through problems. Those are skills that will stay with him for life.

Now it's time for me to make my eggs and then get back to beading.
