🍁 Barb Bergstrom was just 14 years old when she took the high school pottery class that would irrevocably change her life.

Having carefully honed her craft over several decades since, Barb remains passionate about creating functional art that can be enjoyed on a daily basis. Within a medium as old as the hills, Barb’s stoneware offers a unique connection to a historical tradition of pottery-making that spans the millennia and is always recognisable by its timeless functionality. oth Ontario and BC since the 1970s, Barb now works out of her home studio in Sooke, BC. She is an accomplished teacher of all levels from beginner through to experienced potter, has served as a Technician to several Master Potters, and her work has even been used to lend historical accuracy in feature films! Owing to the handmade nature of wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery, and because Barb has never used moulded forms, no two pieces are ever identical – which is perfect, because as we all know, it’s our differences that make us uniquely beautiful! Every piece is microwave and dishwasher safe and comes in a variety of colours and designs, including her popular Blackberry and Sheep ranges. If you’re looking for something specific and don’t see it here, please just ask - we are always excited by commissions, collaborations, and custom orders!
