🥁🪘Sultan Dharamshi (Mr. Chuck Bucket) - Percussion, Drum Kit.

Drummer/percussionist, teacher, and performer with over 20 years of experience and dedication. Chuck has played in various studio session work and many live touring performances across Canada, Europe, and the US. Acts including Ria Mae (Sony Music recording artist), DRUM! (musical theatre production nominated for a Juno), Ouroboros, Paul Reddick (Juno Award winner), Garrett Mason (Juno Award Winner), Steve Marriner (Monkey Junk), Jim Henman (April W**e), The Junkbeats, Bill Durst (Thundermug), Keith Hallett, Blue Rodeo, and Dolly Parton. Chuck has also performed in many different production settings from small restaurants and clubs, to large theatres, outdoor festivals, arenas, and stadiums.

🎹 Jenna Hu - Piano.
📍St.John’s Location.

Jenna Hu is currently at Memorial University of Newfoundland studying Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She started learning piano at the age of five and has been playing piano for more than fourteen years. She has learned the Royal Conservatory of Music piano curriculum up to and including Level 10, and she has earned RCM Level 8 certification for piano and theory. She also participated in the Kiwanis Music Festival for five years, and has won multiple awards. In addition to piano, Jenna also played violin in her high school string orchestra, and learned to play the clarinet and trumpet. She looks forward to helping new students learn to play the piano, while also sharing her passion for music with them!

🥁 Mason Power - Percussion, Drum Kit.
📍St.John’s location.

Mason Power's passion for drumming was ignited at a young age, and he now boasts over a decade of playing experience. Initially drawn to rock music, his interest gradually evolved, leading him to pursue a Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree at Memorial University. Under the guidance of Rob Power, he studied classical and contemporary percussion. Over the past five years, Mason has been an active performer with various ensembles, including the Scruncheons Percussion Ensemble, the MUN Wind Ensemble, the MUN Chamber Orchestra, and the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra. Mason graduated from the School of Music in the spring of 2023, and eagerly looks forward to sharing his love for drums and percussion with his future students.

Krystal has been playing piano since the age of five and has been professionally teaching for over twenty years. A past Music Collection colleague Don Boland was her teacher when she completed the grade eight/nine Royal Conservatory of Music exams. As a certified Music for Young Children instructor, she has had students as young as three, and in private piano students over the age of sixty. She has both a B.A. and B.Ed. from Memorial University and has been a substitute teacher for many years. Krystal has prepared students for the Kiwanis Music Festival and Royal Conservatory of Music exams. Although classically trained, she enjoys helping her students have fun in all styles of learning.

Sean started playing guitar at 8 years old, and since has developed experience in electric, acoustic, and classical styles. He is currently a student in Memorial University’s bachelor of music and commerce joint degree program studying classical guitar as his primary instrument. Outside of school, he performs playing anything from pop to country to metal. Sean spent 6 years in the air cadet program, in which he earned various awards and accolades and gained experience working with and teaching children of a wide age range.

Born in St. John’s, Michael Fagan began studying piano at the age of 7. As a student in the music program at St. Bonaventure’s College, Michael began playing the clarinet at the age of 9, in later years learning mallet percussion, alto and baritone saxophone, and melodica. After graduating from St. Bonaventure’s College in 2010, Michael went on to complete a Bachelor of Music degree from the Memorial University of Newfoundland School of Music in 2014, studying piano under the guidance of Dr. Kristina Szutor. While at MUN, Michael accompanied on piano for the MUN Festival Choir and Wind Ensemble, as well as numerous chamber ensembles, as well as playing clarinet in the MUN Wind Ensemble. Michael later graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 2016. Michael has also accompanied for many churches, organizations and events across St. John’s and the Avalon Peninsula, including St. Teresa’s Parish, St. Paul’s Parish, the Basilica of St. John the Baptist, the Canadian Bible Society, the Kiwanis and Rotary Music Festivals, and on several recordings with the CBC, MUN Wind Ensemble, MUN Chamber Orchestra, VOWR, and St. Bonaventure’s College. Michael has accompanied many choirs, both for schools and professional organizations, including the Philharmonic Choir of the NSO, the Oriana Women’s Choir, St. Bonaventure’s College, and more. Michael is also active in the community as a freelance pianist for various concerts, weddings, funerals, parties, dinners, and more. Michael enjoys working with his students, and watching them work to reach their fullest potential!

🎸 Darryl Collins - Guitar, Classical Guitar, Mandolin, Bass, Banjo, Ukulele.
📍St.John’s and Mount Pearl Locations.

Darryl holds a B.Mus. with honours from St. Xavier University. He offers over 30 years of teaching experience in all styles of guitar, bass, accordion, banjo, ukulele and mandolin.
He has taught students from the age of 5 to seniors. He has experience in many styles including rock, country, folk, fingerstyle, jazz, classical, and improvisation.
Darryl has written two guitar books, one on technique and the other on jazz styles. He has also taught the secondary guitar course at Memorial University.
A regular performer around town with the local bands "Miss Conduct" and "The Outfit".
