Clare Follett has been known to wear many hats in the music industry. With upwards of 10 years of experience, she has worked as a solo artist, session musician, producer, administrative professional, and music educator in St. John’s and beyond. Over the course of her career, she has performed alongside renowned artists including Alan Doyle, Nick Earle & the Reckless Hearts, Janet Cull, Rosemary Lawton, Kelly McMichael, and many more, spanning across countless genres. She is the winner of 3 MusicNL awards and 4 Newfoundland and Labrador Arts & Letters Awards for songwriting. She holds a Bachelor of Music (Hons.) in double bass and currently teaches a wide variety of instruments at the Music Collection, taking pride in helping students reach their full creative potential.

🎻 Rosaura Alejandra Aguilar Márquez - Violin, Fiddle, Viola.
St.John’s Location.

Rosaura Alejandra Aguilar Márquez is a violist and music educator with a background in
performance, pedagogy, and community-based teaching. Originally from Mexico, she holds a
Master of Music in Performance and Pedagogy and a Master of Music in Performance from
Memorial University of Newfoundland.
An active performer and chamber musician, Rosaura is a member of the Newfoundland
Symphony Orchestra and regularly performs a wide range of traditional and contemporary
repertoire. She is also a Suzuki-trained teacher and teaches violin and viola through the Strong
Harbour Strings program and the Music Collection Music Studio, working with students of all
ages and skill levels.
In addition to her teaching and performance work, Rosaura is involved in initiatives that promote
access to music education and support diverse voices within the arts community.

🥁 Bryan Efford - Percussion, Drum Kit, Bodhran, Drum Line Director.
St.John’s and Mount Pearl Locations.
Music Instruction in English.

Bryan has been studying, performing and teaching as a percussionist for over 30 years.
With a great love of marching and military band music, Bryan has been a proud member of the CLB Regimental Band since 1992 and is director of their Corps of Drums.
From 1991 to 2014, Bryan volunteered as a principal accompanist with the Mount Pearl Show Choir and Etcetera programs, performing in annual productions including Sussical, Godspell and Shrek The Musical and many tours to Europe, Japan and the United States.
In 2004, Bryan founded The Music Collection Drumline a marching percussion group which has become a respected youth music program in the province.
Currently, Bryan performs with NL Folk/Traditional group Eastern Echo.
Bryan believes in fostering a passion for drumming and watching the students develop and grow as musicians.
