Check out this custom ordered 2019 Gibson R8.

Long & McQuade ordered this R8 in with some custom features. Based on a traditional R8, the neck has the profile you would expect — a full C with slightly rounded shoulders, large but very manageable. The top was hand-picked by L&M, featuring a tightly figured flamed maple (no pickguard installed, but one is included). The back is one-piece mahogany, and all plastics and nickel parts are Gibson’s “True Historic.” Both pickups are unpotted CustomBuckers with the bridge cover removed. The guitar is very resonant and sounds fantastic.
It weighs in at 8 lbs. 5 oz. and is in mint condition!

This one features a (discontinued) Pickup Wizard Broadcaster pickup, CTS pots with cloth wire, and a nitro aged finish.
The neck is a nicely worn 9.5” radius C-shape with a slightly larger fret size than our standard vintage tall.

Here is a road warrior!
Check out this 1966 Fender Deluxe Reverb amp that we just got back from our tech and sounds fantastic.
The power transformer has been replaced with a more powerful Pro unit, along with a pair of 6L6’s bringing output close to 30 watts.. The output transformer and choke both date to 1966, the reverb pan has been replaced and sounds heavenly, and the speaker is a UK G12 85.

What you’re getting with this amp is a vintage Deluxe with more headroom while maintaining that warm tube tone — it does break up, but you’ll be louder than your buddy with a stock original. The tremolo is strong and very musical.

Check out this nicely preserved 1957 Gibson Les Paul TV Special.

This guitar is in fantastic original condition: the TV finish shows checking with some minor player wear, all the hardware and plastics are original to the guitar, the pots date to 1957 with original solder, and both P-90s are untouched and sound incredible.
The Brazilian rosewood board and original frets look unplayed with no divots, the original nut is still intact, and the guitar plays perfectly all over the neck.
The one anomaly — which we have seen before — is the “stinger” on the back of the headstock with no serial number. The headstock has been examined under a black light and shows no repairs or breaks. Notably, the checking pattern in the TV finish around the headstock runs over the black stinger, confirming this left the factory that way so this could be a guitar that slipped through without a serial number, or possibly an employee guitar.
Either way, a great playing example from one of Gibson’s finest years.

This is not only the Chris Shiflett’s Artist Model Telecaster Deluxe, but it’s ACTUALLY the prototype that Chris owned and played!

Chris’s version of the Deluxe features a 4-bolt neck with two custom humbucking pickups wound hotter than a stock Deluxe.
Being the prototype, it has no serial number but does come with paperwork from both Chris and Fender. This guitar feels incredibly solid, has a great tone, and shows virtually no wear.

Check out this killer 2009 Rickenbacker 381 V69.

The 381 V69 model incorporates all the vintage specs from the era: German carved top, vintage-style layered pickguard, checkerboard binding, standard and Rick-O-Sound outputs, and a fantastic set of Toaster pickups.
This Fireglo beauty is in amazing shape with very minor checking on the body, and both the fingerboard and frets look unplayed.

Bet you’ve never come across one of these before!
Check out this 1996 Navigator NLP-700 — an exceptionally rare, ultra-premium, hand-built Les Paul made by the ESP Custom Shop in Tokyo, Japan.

These guitars were known as ‘Limited’ as they were not production guitars but custom orders and they are highly sought after in certain collector circles.
We’ve played many Custom Shop LPs and Collector Choice Les Pauls, and this one sounds and feels right up there with them.

All the woods are hand-selected by ESP. The top is a beautiful bookmatched flamed maple, with a one-piece old-growth Honduras mahogany back. The neck is also Honduras mahogany with a dark Honduras rosewood fingerboard. The guitar weighs 8 lbs 10 oz and features all-nickel hardware with natural patina. It was originally ordered with a set of DiMarzio PAF pickups that sound incredible. The neck profile is a perfect ‘59 carve that’s very comfortable.

This guitar was played consistently for 25 years by a Japanese blues player — all the wear on the body and hardware was earned honestly, and the nitro finish shows natural checking and wear throughout. This guitar is absolutely amazing!

Here is a Japanese-made Fender 12-string Stratocaster.

With a slightly wider nut width and a flatter radius, this one plays clean in first position. The slimmer headstock design really helps balance the guitar with no neck dive. You have your standard Strat pickup configuration with a 5-way switch and 12 adjustable saddles for perfect intonation.

The guitar is in fantastic shape and we just tuned it, so get down here now!

Check out this Vox AC15 HW1X.

These amps sound great — it features a hand-wired turret board housed in a vintage-style, fawn-covered cabinet with a 1x12 Celestion Alnico Blue speaker. Rated at 15 watts, these amps are perfect for live performance, delivering the classic Vox chime and depth with a rich harmonic overdrive.

The amp has two independent channels — Normal and Top Boost. The Normal channel features high and low inputs and a bright switch. The Top Boost channel also has low and high inputs with a Hot/Cool switch; the Hot setting bypasses the tone stack to increase gain and volume.

This is one great sounding amp!

Check out this fantastic player-grade 1959 Fender Telecaster.

This restoration has maintained many of the original parts — both pickups appear to be original from 1959, the tone pot dates to 1959, with the volume being a 1-meg unit also dating to 1959. The saddles appear to be the original threaded style, and the bridge carries the Pat. No. DES 164227, which is typically associated with late 1961 to 1962. The original neck plate dates to 1959; the body and neck are undated, as expected.

Five of the tuners are single-line Kluson from 1959, with the G tuner showing the same age but unmarked. The pickguard is a single-ply reproduction. The body has been refinished in a lightly aged nitro, the neck has been oversprayed, and a newer decal has been installed. The original rosewood slab board has had a vintage-correct refret and plays perfectly.

All in all, this 6 lbs 7 oz Telecaster sounds incredible. To our ears, the tone captures all the characteristics that make the Telecaster great — a percussive twang with real depth.

(And when you think of ‘59 Telecasters, it’s hard not to think of the one guitar arguably responsible for more Les Paul sales than any other…)
