Did you know these fun facts about Robson Street? ✨
🧓 Robson Street was one of Vancouver’s first streets and was named after John Robson, Premier of British Columbia from 1889–1892.
🚂 In the 1890s, train tracks were laid along Robson, helping it grow into a hub for shops, commerce and social life.
🥐 In the 1950s and 60s, the area became known as “Robsonstrasse” thanks to the many European bakeries, delicatessens and boutiques that shaped the street’s character.
🛍️ Over the decades, Robson Street has continued to evolve — and today it remains one of Vancouver’s most iconic destinations for shopping, dining and gathering.
