We were so stoked this year to help support Camp Huckleberry! Camp Huckleberry is a local grassroots, and youth-run outdoors organization that runs fully funded backpacking trips for 2-spirit, q***r, and trans youth in partnership with Strathcona Park Lodge! 

Over two weeks, Camp Huckleberry brings twenty q***r youth into the outdoors to experience the magic and resilience that comes from spending time outside. 

Camp Huckleberry serves 2sLGBTQIA+ youth from Vancouver Island and beyond and is committed to reducing financial barriers for youth. Interest forms will be launching in November for those interested in attending the camp in summer 2027. Join us Tuesday, October 6th and hear all about Claire Jansen’s thru-hiking adventure in New Zealand! Last November, she hiked the length of NZ’s South Island along the Te Araroa through the southern Alps over 52 days. Doors open at 6, and the show starts at 6:15. Admission is $5 and cash only. In August, Arc'teryx hosted two of our staff members, Cam and Kath, for their Dealer Academy. They spent four days in Squamish alongside other staff from Arc dealers from all over Canada and the US. They learned lots about all the exciting projects and products coming down the pipe, got to tour Arc’teryx’s factory in New Westminster, and climbing + running around Squamish with some of the best gear on the market 😎

We’re so grateful to Arc’teryx for continually building out its relationship with local shops like us!!! Now more than ever we’re extra stoked to be repping our Canadian brands and proud to have such an epic company in our backyard. 🍁

Cam and Kath are still buzzing, so grab them next time you’re in the shop to get the allllll the hot gossip about Arc’teryx 😉
