Saturday Oct 31 is Hamilton Day - HALLOWEEN EDITION - and it's kind of a big deal.

1000+ Hamilton businesses participating. All weekend Oct 29 - Nov 1. City-wide celebration started back in 1931 to boost local shops during the Great Depression - and it's back bigger than ever.

Review:

Pros:
- Greets every single customer like they are her best friend 🐶
- Excellent at barking about new stock (Canadian Mints + Moose P**p 🇨🇦)
- Works for pats + treats
- Never takes a day off

Cons:
- Will not let toddler have any shifts
- Barks during important meetings
- Thinks every customer is here to see HER
- Tried to eat the moose p**p inventory

Verdict: PROMOTED to Store Manager effective immediately 😂🐶

Toddler has been demoted from Assistant to the Regional Manager (making sure the sidewalks stay safe)

SATURDAY - 10th Annual Treat Walk - hundreds of you came out, we gave out coo sticker from + donated to animal adoptions 🐾

SUNDAY - Howl'oween at West Avenue C***r House with Bark At The Moon - little lady made about 100 new best friends 🐶🐶

MONDAY - We were CLOSED - both pups and I were on the outdoor leaf duty 😂

If we met this weekend - HI, I'm Cat! 😻

We met SO many amazing faces at Treat Walk on Saturday and Howl'oween on Sunday - hundreds of you, costumes, dogs, kids, neighbours I hadn't met yet.

I am SO excited to say - I can't wait to see you all in the shop soon!

For those I didn't get to meet properly in the chaos - I'm Cat, I'm 39, I'm the owner of Rustic Daisy's at 25 Main St S, Waterdown. And that little lady you all petted? That's our puppy - our official shop greeter - and she is still tired from making so many new friends! 🐶💕

I opened Rustic Daisy's because I wanted a cozy, local spot that feels like your living room - with better lattes, Canadian made goodies like Happy Body Goat Milk Soap, and a place where everyone knows your dog's name.

This weekend was everything:
🎃 Hundreds of coo costume stickers from Crystal’s Crafting Creations - we just have a few left to hand out this week!
🐾 We donated to animal adoptions
📰 And The Hamilton Spectator called us a hidden gem - still not over it!
