Congratulations Dan on your new Pivot Shuttle Amp’d! This new high power emtb from Pivot is an exciting new chapter for e mountain biking! More than enough peak power to get up the steepest climbs but also very useful software running the show to keep the tires on the ground and very intuitive software in all modes particularly the “auto” mode. Low or Eco mode is also just what it should be to take the edge off the climbs if you want to do most of the work. The new multi adjustable Pivot chassis allows the rider to make the bike shine in whatever type of trails you choose!

The new Pivot Shuttle Amp’d has finally arrived! Featuring an all new power plant by world renowned Avinox, this bike has more peak power than anything else on the market, but thankfully has a great software system that lets you use it in eco(low) mode or better yet auto mode where the software gives you as much power as the situation asks for. The best part is that it’s mounted into the proven confidence inspiring Pivot Cycles chassis! This Pivot is lighter than anything in its class ( full power, full range, full travel)! Come try one!

Big Jim has been riding bikes from here since 1994, that one was a copper coloured Kona Cinder Cone, full rigid (as they were), roadish gears and marginal brakes ( as was normal back then). He progressed into Titanium hardtails and gravel bikes from Kona, dual suspension, then carbon dual suspension, then finally to e assist mtb. And today he has progressed to a new Pivot Shuttle SLAM Pro XO e assist mtb! One of the lighter e bikes available it feels more like a normal bike on the trail, except on the climbs! Between the spectacular suspension linkage system and handling that put Pivot at the head of the line for us, the Fox Factory suspension and SRAM TType XO drivetrain and carbon everywhere this bike is hard to beat! Three decades of bikes Jim, there’s been a lot of changes! Thanks Jim and have fun!

Long time rider and friend Adrian has realized that having a fast fun bike to compliment his long travel fun bike is a good thing! The Pivot Mach 4SL is just that bike! Super fast but surprisingly capable in the rough too! This Factory Fox and SRAM Pro XO transmission machine is ready for everything , as well as the BC Bike Race!

Less is more says Specialized. This new model Levo R has the same power and range as the regular Levo, but it is designed to be more nimble and sharp handling than its longer travel family.
The Levo R has 140 mm travel at the front and 130 at the back, 20mm shorter than usual. The end result in my opinion after test riding this bike, is the best handling e assist mtb that Specialized has made to date.
For most trails in Southern Ontario, the “shorter” travel suspension is more than up to the task of handling our rougher trails at speed, and the bike is quieter handling than the longer travel bikes. This bike keeps its composure through the bumps and jumps and maintains a more consistent and predictable reaction to what you throw at it.
Is it better? If you ride trails with flow and like a tighter handling bike, could be.

Nice choice Dwayne! This bike will be perfect for the last BC Bike Race that is on your bucket list this year! The Epic Evo Pro is a fast bike that is very capable and fun on technical trails with its Fox Factory suspension 130 front 120 rear. Roval carbon rims on Industry 9 hubs means high performance and reliability. SRAM XO A S transmission means perfect shifting all the time! Dwayne added a SRAM XX1 power crank to the bike to track his training. Sweet machine! Thanks Dwayne!
