We are pleased to welcome Jay Buist to the Predator Zone ambassador team.

Jay’s fishing journey began at a young age, spending countless hours on local waters developing his skills and passion for the sport. While he has experience across a range of methods and species, it was predator fishing that truly captured his attention, with pike and perch becoming his primary focus.

Driven by a competitive mindset and a desire to continually improve, Jay has dedicated recent years to targeting larger fish and exploring some of the country’s most renowned predator venues. His introduction to kayak fishing opened up new opportunities and has since become a key part of his approach on the water.

With personal bests of 27.9lb for pike and a perch measuring 45cm, Jay has already enjoyed some memorable captures, and we are excited to have him representing Predator Zone as he continues to pursue even bigger goals.
