Congratulations to the winners of Pentel’s competition. I hope my customers enjoyed their free sample packs and entered the comp. too.

National Stationery Week and Pentel UK are delighted to announce the winner of the competition is Jessie Dixon from Hay-on-Wye!


Jessie’s entry stood out, with excellent detail colouring of the Cherry Blossom design using Brush Sign Pen and Pointliner colour, and additional accents of design in the background using our popular EnerGel and Mattehop products.


Jessie wins a selection of Pentel products worth £100 including quick-drying EnerGel pens, unique Mattehop, Hybrid Milky Pens, our award winning Floatune and a selection of stationery essentials from PLUS.


Jessie received her free Pentel Sample pack from independent retailer Bartrums in Hay-on-Wye, who themselves will receive a fantastic prize of Pentel and PLUS merchandising products.


10 runners-up will also be receiving a prize including a selection of Pentel and PLUS products.

In a shop/office environment I have some great tips to keep cool

😎 Keep calm and try not to get flustered
😎 Use a damp flannel to wipe face and put on neck (looks silly but works)
😎 Use spray cooler (available from Morton’s )
😎 Open window early on but pull office blind down
😎 When really hot, bowl of water under desk for your feet! - yes really
😎 Frozen ice treat in afternoon
😎 Drink plenty of water - more than you think you will need

A firm favourite creature from my childhood when ladybirds used to land on our hands in our grandparent’s garden. Makes me feel nostalgic.

Latest cover of our trade magazine all about stationery trends and news. This latest edition gives info about the London Stationery Show, held in Islington, a trade show for stationery suppliers.
I am there now choosing new products, chatting to suppliers and friends in our industry. Enjoying the food, the company and all the new products.
