So I decided when purchasing my new upgraded sewing machine that I would try and learn 2 new skills. So the first thing I wanted to do was make some lovely items for my shop using patchwork. Plus, I could use up scrap fabric which is great for the environment. This is one of my first attempts, it's not very good at all but I will improve. Keep following me to see how I progress

Making beautiful greetings cards is what I spend most of my time creating. What I love more is knowing that that creation played a part in making someone’s birthday extra special. You can’t wish for better than that can you!!

Ok, so I'm not sure if it's my bad video or that I'm not really being seen. BUT, the product I've been making today are reusable makeup removal pads. Lovely cotton fabric on one side and soft Terry towelling on the other. When you've used them, just pop them in the machine on 40 degrees and use them again. They are now available in my shop!

It’s the start of a new school year, I have a lovely new sewing machine with lots of new ideas for products to make. So I thought I’d reintroduce myself and Monkey Moo. I’m Hayley and I started my little business at a time when I needed to manage stress and anxiety. I was a full time mum and carer to my son, Jonah (monkey moo). The business gave me much needed time to grow my creativity and to destress. It hasn’t always been easy but I love it and now get more time to create whilst Jonah is cared for at residential college.
