One of this week's Linn LP12 before and after journeys 😊

This came to us in quite a sorry state - very dirty and dusty, ill-fitting springs, worn and ground rubber grommets, old Valhalla psu and a worn out Denon cartridge.

We stripped, cleaned and fully serviced it, so all springs and grommets replaced, the old black liner bearing was still in great condition, so just replaced the oil there, replaced the dud valhalla with a Minos power supply from Valhalla Electronics and fitted a new Audio-Technica VM745X ML cartridge.

Now, we have one fabulous looking and sounding Sondek, and one very happy customer 😁 Bonus points that he can now switch from 33 1/3rpm to 45rpm (and back) with the press of a button!

We got our first listen to the brand new Rega Replay turntable last week, and wow. This things sounds incredible and it is only £259!!

We're still scratching our heads about how Rega has done this, but very happy they have, and we have a feeling a lot of you will be too!

First stock arriving November, and lots more info and pictures to come on this, stay tuned.

Here’s a little gem that we haven’t told you about: Dynavector ASKA MC cartridge.

Aska is Dynavector's entry point into true moving coil cartridge performance, and it's so good you may never want or need to go any further!

At just £449, Aska is a stonking cartridge for the money. We’ve tried it on LP12s, Axis and Rega and it performs really, really well on all of them.

It's available in both High and Low Output versions, inheriting the design philosophy of upper-tier models and delivering that open, natural Dynavector sound.

• MM Compatible - High Output Model Available
• Elliptical Stylus
• Special Annealing Magnetic Circuit
• Softened Neodymium Magnets
• Flux Damper

• ASKA-H: 2.8mV output, for connection to standard Moving Magnet (MM) phono inputs
• ASKA-L: 0.3mV low-output model built for systems equipped with a dedicated MC phono stage

Accuphase C-3900S ❤️

This is our demo model, living in Rob's system at home, where it will stay until he's forced to return it 😂

The C-3900S really is a VERY special preamplifier. The way it layers, the speed, separation and realism is just phenomenal.

Two new Ophidian Audio loudspeakers have arrived at Adventures - SEREN standmounts and SKYE floorstanders.

These two sound wonderful on everything we’ve paired them with. The more we listen, the more impressed we are.

Ophidian speakers aren’t fussy on room placement and present music with scale and realism and all the things we believe are critical to a really good music system. And they're made locally too, less than 20 miles from the store 😊

Well worth popping in for a listen... even if you're not in the market!

Seren standmount, £2795
Skye floorstander, £3995

This is Eversolo Audio DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 - Streamer, DAC, CD Player and analogue preamplifier in one, from a brand that is shaking up the audio industry in a way we haven't seen in years. A good way 😊

Eversolo brings true high end 2-channel performance, build quality and software expertise to a new, accessible price point. This unit is £2498, considerably cheaper than anything we've heard at this level, and backed up by robust, cutting edge tech and a user interface - onscreen and app - that is as slick, and fast, as they come. Plus, you can play and rip CDs to optional internal storage, or an attached USB drive. Especially useful if you can't be bothered with NAS drives (though it integrates seamlessly with those too).

DMP-A8 ticks all the boxes as a streaming system, find out more here:

We're thrilled to have Eversolo now on board at Adventures, and urge you to come in for a look and listen. These are trail-blazing products.
