🚲❤️ We are thrilled that I Cycle is a proud sponsor of the Ribble Valley Ride 2026 - a brilliant community fundraising sportive taking place on Sunday 7th June, starting right here in Clitheroe.

This year's ride raises money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation, which funds specialist cancer equipment, research, and support for patients across Lancashire and South Cumbria, and Rotary Great Britain and Ireland. Two causes that make a very real difference to very real people in our community.

There are three routes to choose from:
💪 70 miles — for those who love a challenge
🚴 50 miles — the perfect middle ground
🌿 25 miles — brilliant for first-timers or a more relaxed ride

The Ribble Valley is one of the most beautiful places in the country to ride a bike. On June 7th, you get to enjoy every bit of it while raising money for an incredible cause.

Half term is nearly here and we know exactly what that means... 😄

Bikes out. Fresh air. Freedom.

If your little one has been eyeing up a new bike, or if they've quietly outgrown the one in the garage, half term is the perfect time to get them sorted and we have just the thing.

💡 The question we hear most often about e-bikes: How far can you ride on a single charge? 🔋

The answer depends on more than just the battery — your range is affected by both riding style and conditions. Here are the 3 biggest factors:

🚴‍♂️ Assistance level
Do you ride in Eco mode and pedal more yourself, or go full Turbo all the way? The less support you use, the longer your battery will last.

🌬️ Wind and terrain
Headwinds and hills require more power from the motor, while tailwinds and flat roads help you go further on one charge.

🚲💨 Tire pressure
Properly inflated tires reduce resistance and help extend your battery range — a small detail that makes a big difference.

Most Gazelle riders experience anywhere from 50 to 150+ km on a single charge, depending on battery size, terrain, and riding style.

🎩While the rest of us have been busy selling e-bikes, folding bikes, and mountain bikes, Adam has been quietly ahead of the curve. WAY ahead of the curve.
In fact, he's so far ahead of the curve that he's gone all the way back to 1875.

We did ask him why. He said something about "raw, unfiltered cycling" and "getting back to basics." We nodded and backed away slowly.

All jokes aside - this is genuinely what our staff get up to for fun. Obsessed with bikes? Just a little bit. Which means when it comes to finding you the right one, we really do know our stuff. 😄
