🚨 TO FRIDGE OR NOT TO FRIDGE? 🚨

That is the chocolate question. 🍫

As tempting as it is during a heatwave… your chocolate would actually prefer NOT to live next to the cheese and leftover curry. 😅

Why? Because chocolate is a delicate little diva....
✨ The fridge dulls the shine
✨ It softens the snap
✨ Cold temperatures mute all those beautiful flavour notes
✨ And cocoa butter LOVES absorbing fridge smells (onion truffle, anyone? 🤢)

BUT… if your house feels like the surface of the sun and your chocolates are getting a little melty, there is a safe way to fridge them.

Chocolate and heatwaves are not the perfect pairing!! ☀️🍫

With temperatures soaring this week, here’s your reminder to keep your chocolates stored in a cool, dark place — and please don’t pop them in the fridge.

Chocolate naturally absorbs moisture and odours in the fridge, which can affect both the texture and flavour (and nobody wants that!).

To make sure your chocolates arrive in perfect condition, we’ve also made the decision to pause all postal orders until Monday 1 June, when the weather is set to cool down again.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while we protect the precious cargo 💛
