Do you realise that it is now 60 years since England won the World Cup!!!!

With this years tournament starting in June, I thought I would share this frame that recently left the studio. 2 programmes from the 1966 World Cup along with an original ticket from every match that England played make a lovely collection of memorabilia.

VE (Victory in Europe) took place on the 8th of May 1945 when the Germans unconditionally surrendered to the Allied Forces.

What a great way to mark the 81st anniversary than by sharing this Bomber Command Poppy frame that was recently collected by a customer. The poppy was one of over 20,000 that were installed at the International Bomber Command Centre last year as part on the 80th anniversary of VE day.

The customer purchased the poppy and wanted it framed in order to create a lasting memory to the men who flew in Bomber Command during WW2. To make the frame unique I also included an original signature of Arthur "Bomber" Harris, Marshall of the Royal Airforce and Chief on Bomber Command during conflict.

The customer was over the moon with the finished frame, and it was hung in pride of place when he got home. I hope that you will also agree that this frame is a fitting tribute.

People ask "do you frame sports shirts?" Well yes I do.

This was a signed British Lions shirt that the customer asked me to reframe for her husband. The first photo shows it in the original frame, and the second one is the finished frame that she collected.

I used a triple mount and anti-reflective glass that also provides UV protection for the message and signature on the shirt. I hope that you can see the difference.

I thought I would share the latest military service frame to leave the studio.

With medals and buttons included in the frame, they certainly help to bring Ted's military service to life. I know that this frame will be passed down through the generations as a reminder of what their relative did during the war.

It is always special to work with other local business's to create something special.

I made these frames for the Beacon Hotel in Sedgley so that they could display some of their many award certificates. The frames were stained with 5 different coats in order to produce a finished colour that matched in with the historic decor of the pub.

Always worth a visit, why not pop along, have a pint and check out the frames.😁🍻

If you have followed my page you will have seen plenty of military history and military related frames that I have made over the years. For me personally, this is the most special frame I have worked on.

Leonard Delves was my wife's grandfather, who sadly passed away when my father-in-law was relatively young. As a result no one knew about his military service during WW2, and we had very little information to go on. Cue a request to the MOD for his service record, which after a couple of emails was made available to us. We then submitted a online form to the MOD to obtain his medals. They were sent out to us in due course and then it was over to me to create the frame.

The finished piece now hangs with pride in my in laws home. I hope that you like the finished frame.

More and more these days people want to remember the service and sacrifice that a family member gave in the armed forces. If you would like to have a lasting memory of a member of your own family, please get in touch.

When the customer brought this print in they said that they wanted to go a bit funky with the finished frame.

Using double mounts and a new moulding that I have available, I hope you will agree that I delivered something a bit different. The customer was over the moon with the finished piece when they collected it.

Oh and before anyone asks, there is a piece of Anti-reflective & UV protective glass in that frame!!!

CALLING ALL PEAKY BLINDERS FANS

With the release of Peaky Blinders The Immortal Man hitting the screens it seemed a good idea to share my unique tributes to Tommy Shelby. Both of the frames have been made by myself in my studio and I have only the two shown.

Each frame contains a print of Jonathon Woods portrait of Tommy along with items that give the piece that true Peaky feel.

The frames are one off collectors pieces for any Peaky fan and can be purchased for £150 each. Please get in touch if you are interested in purchasing either of the frames.

This is one of those frames that I have been wanting to have a go at for some time, and finally got round to it.

An original signed picture of Captain America (Chris Evans) framed in a unique way. The mounts have been cut to resemble Captain America's iconic shield and then the frame had a custom paint job to continue the shield right to the edge.

I hope that you like the finished result.
