Our Community Shop is really in need of more volunteers to help us keep things running smoothly.

Even a few hours of your time can make a huge difference. Whether you enjoy meeting people, organising, sorting donations or simply want to give something back to your community, there’s a place for you in our team.

💷✈️ Got some leftover currency from your travels?

Did you know we collect leftover foreign currency at our shop? 🌍

We have a collection box where staff, volunteers and customers can donate any coins or notes they have left over from trips abroad. We can then exchange this currency for income to help support our sister project County Durham and Sunderland Foodbank 💛

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. So, next time you’re sorting through your holiday money, why not pop any leftover currency into one of our collection boxes?

Just a little reminder that we’ll be closed next Monday for the Bank Holiday! 🧡

If you have any donations for our shop, please drop them off before the weekend or when we’re back on Tuesday. Please don’t leave donations outside while we’re closed, as this is considered fly-tipping and your lovely donations could get damaged.

We hope you all have something lovely planned and enjoy the long weekend! ☀️
