The sleepover starts before the teepees even arrive… 🥹💗

Because half the fun of something exciting is counting down the days until it happens! ✨

Every Sleepover Club VIP receives their own personalised countdown board so they can see exactly how many sleeps are left until their big night. ⛺️

And I can just imagine the excitement of changing that number every day… especially when it finally gets down to ONE MORE SLEEP! 😭💗

It’s such a little thing, but these are exactly the details I wanted to include when I created Material Mum Events. I don’t just want to turn up with some teepees. I want the whole thing to feel exciting. From the moment they find out about their sleepover, right through to the morning after. ✨

🎢💗 A little break from teepees, movie domes and sleepover planning…

Yesterday was all about us. 🥰

We spent the day at Chessington, making memories, laughing, going on rides and squeezing every last bit out of the summer holidays. ☀️🎢

Running a little business means my brain is usually thinking about the next booking, the next idea or something else I really need to buy 😂, so days where I properly switch off and just enjoy being Mum are very much needed.

Back to Material Mum Events today though… and unsurprisingly, my brain has already started again. 😂💗

🎀 It’s all in the little details… 🎀

One of my favourite parts of setting up a sleepover is watching it all come together. 💗

The cosy beds, fluffy blankets and cushions are lovely, but it’s those little finishing touches that make each child feel like their own little space has been made especially for them. ✨

A lantern glowing beside their bed, their own Movie Night tray ready for snacks and treats, and everything waiting for them when they walk into the room. 🍿🎬

Because really, it’s not just about hiring a teepee. It’s about that “WOW!” moment when they first see it. 🥹💗 And knowing there are going to be a LOT of giggles before anybody actually goes to sleep. 😂

👀 Something new is coming to Material Mum Events…

I’ve had another one of those ideas that I just can’t leave alone 🤣 It involves cosy nights, a BIG screen, plenty of treats and a little bit of Material Mum magic… 🍿🎬✨

And the best bit?

You won’t need to be having a sleepover to book this one. I’m still working on all the little details, but I am SO excited about this.

Any guesses what’s coming? 🤭💗

It still feels a little surreal that this is my job. 💗

What started with a passing thought has very quickly turned into real sleepovers, real bookings and lots of little people making memories under my teepees.

I’m still learning, still creating and still coming up with approximately 47 new ideas every day 🤣

But I’m loving watching Material Mum Events become what I pictured in my head.

And we’re only just getting started. There is so much more still to come and so many ideas I cannot wait to bring to life! I am so grateful for the support that I’ve had. It means the world to me- every tag, every recommendation, every share. My heart is so full ✨

✨ A little behind the scenes at Material Mum Events… ✨

Ever wondered what happens before the sleepover begins?Yesterday I decided to film some of the set up and squeeze it all into a time lapse! 🎀⛺️

Teepees up, beds made, fairy lights on, trays styled and all those little finishing touches added ready for the birthday girl and her friends. 💗

There’s something so satisfying about watching an empty room turn into a sleepover. 🥹✨

And then I pack up, leave… and the giggles, snacks, films and memories begin. 🍿🎬
