If you are looking for a vegetarian treat this you're in luck, as we're sharing our fabulous Garlic & Herb Flatbread recipe that can be found on page 18 of the Everhot Cookbook 🫓
Makes: 6-8
Flatbread Ingredients:
250g plain flour
250g strong plain flour
7g sachet dried yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp oil
325ml warm water
Garlic Butter Ingredients:
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
30g Butter
Chopped parsley
METHOD
1. In a mixing bowl mix together the water, flours, yeast, oil and salt until it forms a soft dough.
2. Place on a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes.
3. Transfer the kneaded dough to a bowl and cover, leave to prove for approximately 1 hour until doubled in size.
4. Cut into 6-8 pieces, roll out on a floured surface into thin oblongs around 2mm thick.
5. Cook directly on the simmer plate for 4-5 minutes each side until browned.
6. Mix the butter, chopped garlic and parsley and spread onto the warm flat bread and serve.
Tip: You can make the garlic butter and freeze it in advance.
