Gosh, that came round quickly… Dyeing Day is THIS Wednesday! 🧶🎨

I’ve been playing with this gorgeous marled yarn — because one of the plies doesn’t take the dye, you get this lovely tweedy effect, while the colour does all sorts of interesting things around it.

Dyeing Day 🎨🧶
We’re having another Dyeing Day!
If you’re a complete beginner and would like to have a go, we’ll help you from beginning to end.
If you’ve dyed before, we’ve got a couple of fun techniques to share to give you some inspiration (I don’t want to give too much away, but… pooling! 👀) — or you’re welcome to use the day to create that skein you’ve always wanted.

It’s Saturday Sock Club tomorrow yaaaayyyyy. I cast on a new pair of socks to celebrate!

We’re at The Yarn Barn, Kimbolton from 10am to 12am to knit socks, or learn to knit socks, or knit something else, or crochet, or well pretty much anything woolly, we pretty easy going 🤣

We’re starting a new TCAL (Tunisian Crochet Along) at Patches soon… and we’d love a couple of new people to come and join us! 🧶🧡

Don’t worry if you’ve never tried Tunisian Crochet before — we’ll be breaking everything down step by step, and my job is to help you all the way!
