DMC have released their Spring 2026 Kits and they are all now listed in the PRE-ORDER section of the website - https://threads4u.co.uk/product-category/pre-order/

There are 12 new cross stitch kits including 4 bookmarks and 2 kits from a new DMC designer - Joanna Hately.

All kits shown in the pre-order section are in stock in the Warehouse in the UK so I can have them with me next week ready to despatch to you.

Quick review on the new nurge frame.
I bought the small frame and the 18cm extensions. They came in a plastic zip lock pouch, so they can be easily stored when not in use and travelling. There is a leaflet inside that shows you all the different ways the frame and the extensions can be put together.
The snap part is quite stiff to get off, but I understand that it needs to be to hold the fabric tightly.
The fabric on the frame once the snaps are on is drum tight, without having to twist the snaps. Also the frame sits easily in a lowery frame and is stable.
I hope this helps anyone considering buying the frame.

Quick update;

Floss-A-Way bags - these are now in production following the update to be able to sell them to the UK market. I've placed my first order and shipment is expected to leave the USA mid April 2026.

Cottage Garden Threads, final colours to arrive, Lavender, Muscat, Dark Yew and Plum Pudding - CGT hope to have the dye on these 4 corrected and therefore my stock shipped just after Easter, so the final colours should hit the website not long after that. I've also pre-ordered the "Beneath the Rainbow" floss pack, that was their Nashville Exclusive. These are released for global sale mid April so I expect they'll all be shipped together 🤞

When either of the above do arrive I'll make sure to let you all know

Just a little update on the terms and conditions of sale

Threads4u is a small business run by one person; from cleaning to empire building it’s all down to them.

The pages have admins, as does the Instagram page - those kind people (friends) do that from their own homes all over the UK.

In order to ensure all orders are despatched promptly; they are packed very quickly as that is my MAIN priority for customers. Customer emails are next; followed by stock, website etc etc. Home and Family happen more by chance.

This post isn’t for attention; just to show how it’s not easily possible for an order to be amended.
Firstly; HMRC see it as (potentially) fraud if I change an order;
Secondly; it’s not just take one out, put one in - parcels need to be opened (could also be seen as fraud), changes made, all stock levels have to be manually adjusted, then resealed, postage changed and reapplied etc etc

If I can, I will - but please don’t send negative reviews or messages.

In the UK, data protection is governed by the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

I'm putting this out here so hopefully the NASTY nellies on email realise that I ask things for security checks to protect YOU, the customer.

When you email asking about an order; it is against the law for the retailer to just provide information - they HAVE to do the utmost to check they are corresponding with the purchaser; and have proof.

I used to train customer service staff for this exact law in my previous life.

Top and bottom; if I cannot be satisfied that the email (phone call, text or message) is from the purchaser then I cannot respond to the questions asked initially - I am not being awkward or difficult, I am doing my best to protect you and your personal data.

For those who happily reply with the necessary answers, they can confirm that I will deal with the situation promptly.

Whilst posting this - if anyone has anything missing from their parcel or a discrepancy; then please send a photo (maybe more than 1 depending on the situation) it truly does speed up the process of reaching a resolution.

Heads up for everyone....... Next month I will reach the ripe old age of 50 😯

I have planned my own celebrations, and am also having my BFF from Canada Carmen Margetts to stay for almost a month.

Most days I will get orders despatched as normal; but if something crops up I will contact each customer personally to explain the delay in despatch.

I'm putting this up now and will add a notice on the website for any specific dates that I know I won't be able to provide the full service you expect.
