This last six weeks have honestly been some of the hardest we've faced. As well as my operation and slow recovery, we've had to deal with two of our furkids being very poorly. This is partly why our socials and birthday celebrations have been low key, as quite honestly, it's all been too much for us to cope with.
When we got home from the shop on Saturday our eldest furkid Fergus had taken a turn for the worst and we had to say goodbye to him on Sunday 💔🌈
Our other elder furkid, Maisie (in the last photo, snuggled up with Fergus), remains poorly, with a terminal diagnosis. We are faced with knowing we will have to go through this horrificness again but we don't know when 💔
Anyone who has followed us for some time will know that our cats are our kids and it's truly a horrible time. Bear with us as we are really fragile right now.
On top of all this my recovery is slower and more painful than I hoped, and my next operation is now scheduled in for 10th July so I get to go through it all again.
And, like everyone else, we are worried about the business and the state of our economy and the world around us. Is there any wonder we're feeling overwhelmed 😪
Apologies for the realness folks, we're only human and life is not always roses.
If you are planning on visiting us we do have lots of beautiful goodies instore and lots of newness too, and we'll do our best to share it all with you ❤️
Much love, Claire & Mark
