Founded in 2013 by Claire and Natalie, Our Handmade Collective now features thousands of handmade products that you just can’t find on the main high street. We’re proud of our Yorkshire heritage, and the majority of our Designer Makers are local to us with a few hand picked favourites from further afield. We sell gifts and cards for any occasion or recipient - so whether you’re looking for

ard or if you want to we’ve got you covered! Nestled at 104 Town Street in Horsforth, LS18 4AH, we are currently open Tuesday through Saturday, 10-5pm. We are dog friendly and welcome all furry visitors and well behaved owners! Our online shop features the same great selection of marvellous makers that you’d find in store. We offer a range of postage and delivery options including: click and collect and free postage on all orders over £40. Our small but dedicated team dispatches your orders at least twice a week so you’ll never have to wait too long for your gifts to arrive!

Not that we're wishing time away but the very fabulous Tim Gomersall (who is based right here in Horsforth - you can't get much more local to us!) has brought us some copies of his 2027 calendar - for reyt proper organised Yorkshire folk! Not least because it's September so still 3 months before it's needed 😁

Tim's featured illustrations include York, Staithes, Whitby, Harrogate and more, and are the perfect additions to grace your wall while keeping you organised and knowing where you need to be and when 🧡

Sunday Funday....

We're both full of cold, with raging temperatures and sore throats full of razor blades but we needed to get the window display done so we threw something together 🧡💛🍂🍁💛🧡

There's still a little tweaking to do but we'll get there! Back home again now and wishing the cats had opposable thumbs to fetch and carry for us 🤣
If anyone wants to bring us lemsips or treats (or both), just follow the sound of coughing, groaning and sneezing... or on second thoughts, stay far away, you don't want to catch it 🤧🤧

'Ow do! It's a busy morning in Horsforth today as the monthly Horsforth Farmers Market is on until 12.30pm, just across the road from us in it's usual spot in St Margaret's school carpark 😁 And we're full of fabulousness thanks to some cracking recent deliveries, including these mugs and biscuit boards by FRED & BO - That Yorkshire Gift Company 🤩
Pop in and see us, we're open until 3.00pm today as Claire is in and still hobbling around. We've decided, having both knees replaced within a 3 month time frame is a daft idea and shouldn't be done, recovery is tough going 🫠 Still, surely it can only get better, the hard part is done, right?!

Friday feels! We've had a restock of our ever popular Yorkshire themed tea towels from the lovely John and Rachel at The Hutch in Grassington and the Shades of Brew greetings card has been joined by the matching tea towel! But remember, however you take yer brew, allus mek it a Yorkshire Tea! 😍

Have you visited The Hutch in Grassington? It's the most glorious gift shop full to bursting with local talent (not unlike ourselves 😁) and it also doubles as the bakery in All Creatures Great and Small, which is pretty cool!

The 'ber' months are here, our favourite time of the year! We love the rich reds, golds and oranges of the trees, the warm browns and yellows, the feeling of getting warm and cosy - and of course, pumpkin season!
We'll be getting our autumn window installed shortly and filling the shelves with lots of rich, warm colours, ready to welcome you in and give you that warm and squishy feeling of hugs!

Goooooooood morning! It's bright and sunny here in Leeds today, what's it like where you are?
We've spent the bh weekend lazing around and watching lots of movies (tbf they were just on in the background while we watched the kittens!), which leads us nicely to mention that we had a bumper top up of our fave Charlie Lunn Art movie and TV prints including lots of new designs!
Some absolute classics here🥰

This is a fairly accurate representation of some of my emotions at the moment. It's also partly the reason why we will be closing at 3pm today ❤️

My body and mind has been through so much this year. Two major surgeries 3 months apart. I need to keep telling myself that I can't just expect to wake up one morning and everything will be okay and 'back to normal'. Losing two of our furbabies 2 months apart 💔 Dealing with everything at once and worrying about two businesses and the impact life is having on them and me. Honestly, it's beyond overwhelming and I need to listen to myself and cut myself a bit of slack. We're all so good at talking the talk yet it's much harder to walk the walk and take our own advice!

So, rambling aside, I've taken the decision to listen to my still healing body and mind, and I'll be closing at 3pm today - I realised after working a longer day on Thursday that it's taking me longer to bounce back and I need to accept limitations ❤️

The silver lining is that heavy rain is forecast from lunchtime onwards and you guys are very sensible so I know you'll visit this morning rather than this aft anyway!
