The joy of working with so many church communities is seeing how they adapt in changing times and how innovative they are in their own identities from larger to smaller communities. Here`s a good example of what can be done when thinking through the visitor journey and use of limited space by Bridge Family Church, Edinburgh. Well done David and Julie Goldschmidt (I believe special mention to Julie on design) and the team around them. A very inviting and comfortable social space to those not used to church, but also has a worship focus for those in the church. Note the light fittings and colour options, wood & rope textures, soft furnishings, use of existing brick, housing the keyboards into the wood stand to soften the impact, mock stain glass windows and slim line lectern etc. Nice one.

GOOD TO HEAR: One of the very real benefits of running a company is having the direct decision making connection with customers. One particular US based corporate customer with UK offices, recycles technology out to charities to the tune of £10ks of kit. Nearly all of it well within it's lifecycle. This is extremely generous and supports community focussed agency's/charities at a time when they are especially needed. Many corporates, have at the heart of them, faithful people who see the bigger picture...Thank you to them all.

We ve seen some very nice updates on smaller worship spaces in the last couple of years, creating relevant functionality while keeping the legacy of the space alive. It somehow captures an intimacy that isn't available in the larger spaces.
