💐💚LET'S GO GREEN 💚 💐

This weekend Holy Trinity Church is hosting Let’s Go Green, a creative festival celebrating seasonal flowers, produce and crafts, all produced by the local community.

The event focuses on the environment and re-using, recycling and sustainability. Come and see some beautiful displays and what we've been up to this week!

I’ve been quietly working away on the next soap workshop and I think this might be one of the most fun yet 🤣

We’re making a whole loaf of handmade cold-process soap — not one tiny bar — using colourful soap confetti and embeds.

You choose the colours, the design and your essential-oil blend, and I’ll guide you through the whole process.

Six people. Three hours. Tea, chocolate and probably far too much chatting.

Saturday 10 October, The Window Box, Tarleton.

Would you like to learn how to make your own bouquets from scratch? In this workshop we will show you everything you need to know from conditioning your flowers, spiralling your stems and all the finishing touches to make the perfect floral gift.

Would you like to spend a Saturday afternoon having a natter, a brew and getting creative? Come join our Bloom and Social Club every third Saturday of the month! We provide the flowers and you come up with your own floral creation.

This month's theme is:
🌰🍁🍄🌾🍂 Autumn Harvest 🍂🌾🍄🍁🌰

🗓️ Saturday 19th September
⏰2:00-4:00
📍 Our workshop space next door to The Window Box, Tarleton
💷 £35 per person

🍁 What you need to bring:

Any container, props and crafty items you have that will help to bring your design together. You can also bring any foliage or flowers from your garden, but we kindly ask you to not bring any supermarket flowers. You could get foraging and bring with you a selection of cones, conkers, beech nuts, acorn cups etc.

🍂 What's included on the day:

We will provide you with a selection of flowers alongside scissors, secateurs and floral glue. Tea/coffee and biscuits are also included. We also have flower foam, vases, trays and other containers available if you need them for an extra charge on the day.

There is no demonstration for these sessions your designs are entirely your own creations, but we will be on hand to help if you need us.

On Saturday we had a lovely small group of ladies at our new Bloom and Social Club.

We spent a couple of hours getting creative and having a natter with a brew. They were given flowers to work with and this month's theme which was 'Fiesta' and off they went with a design entirely of their own making. It was lovely to see everyone's different interpretations of the theme. 🪅💃🏼🪇

Every third Saturday of the month from now until October we will be hosting our Bloom and Social club. And the theme for this month is... FIESTA 🎉💃🏼

Here's a little bit of info about what's involved:

🌻It's an exciting opportunity for you to get creative and use your own imagination to produce a design of your own making based on the theme and the flowers we provide each session. Join us for as many or as little as you like, there's no obligation.

💐When you book onto each session you will receive a list of flowers that we will be providing on the day, alongside an inspiration board to get your imagination flowing. You can bring with you anything you like, recycled containers, different materials and anything from your own gardens to enhance your design. All we ask is that you please don't use flowers purchased from the supermarket. We will be on hand to give you any support or guidance and look forward to seeing all your creations.

☕This will be a lovely afternoon spent creating, crafting and chatting with a brew and of course a biscuit or two!
