What a lovely thought, one of our gift bags delivered today.

Most of the flowers we use are grown by us bit not all yet this year. Our learning curve has been steep this year and next year's growing is already planned out, so fingers crossed we will get to a position over the summer where we only use our own grown flowers.

We do use oasis but have swapped to the eco friendly version. Moving in the right direction.

So, a big collection of really cute rustic pots to be recycled and a huge supply of bulbs, I mean never let it be said that I might over order sometimes, means only one thing - mini spring bulb pots!

So yesterday I spent a lovely few hours with Jen and the rest of the Seeds to Stems gang picking gorgeous flowers and then practising my (rather dodgy) spiral hand tie technique.

This one went right on my second attempt, and it even stands up on its own - look at that!

Morning all,

Up bright and early, supposedly to pick some flowers before it gets hot, but its already hot!

Our cornflowers are looking lovely, and we have all the colours! There is about to be another flush of corncockle which might just be the prettiest flower ever. Also picking malope, calendula, snap dragons, gladioli, cerinthe, cosmos, nigella, dianthus and a few scabious this morning.

I'm fingers crossed for sme Dahlias tomorrow, there are plenty of big juice buds on the plants now.

Honesty box will be out this evening, with just a couple of vases available.
